The DirVenue is a 100% free, human-edited directory listing quality sites under various different categories and sub-categories. There are no paid listings and no reciprocal links required. We visit all sites before we list them and often write our own little review. You can also rate the sites from 1-10 if you like or dislike it. Our mission is to provide access to information to the global community.
Liability
We are not responsible for any spam or contacts you may receive as a result of being listed in this directory. It is not only entirely possible, it is likely that at some point in the future all sites listed here will be contacted by freebie seekers or those looking to make a quick buck. Thus is the nature of directories and while we hate this as much as the next person, we cannot be held responsible for any visitors that happen upon your site. We have our own sites listed here so we'll likely be contacted right along with you!
Multiple sites
Have more than one business? Does each one have a website? List them all here! You can list just one site/business or you can list multiples. There is no charge for adding more than one... knock yourself out!
Categories
There is no limit on the number of categories your site(s) can be listed in. However, please list each site only in the category in which it fits. For example, don't list your cat beds in the antiques category and don't list your insurance site in the Furniture category. Anyone found "spamming" by way of adding multiple, incorrect categories to their listing will be removed and blacklisted. Yes, that means no more listings and no more account! Don't do it.
Plagiarism
We simply do not tolerate plagiarism. This would include your listing description or any content on any site listed here. If we are notified that you are using another's content or description, your site(s) will be removed and your account will be terminated immediately.
Spamming/Harassment
Any member that is found to be spamming other members will be terminated immediately. We take spamming reports very seriously and will look into every instance of reported spamming or harassment. Kindly keep your squabbles and personal problems with others away from here.
Prohibited Sites/Content
ABSOLUTELY NO adult sites will be permitted. This is a family friendly site and we must ask that all vulgarities be left behind. Any listing found to contain adult material, link to an adult website, or contain vulgarity will be removed. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
Site Submission Guidelines
• Submit all the site details only in English.
• Non-English sites must be submitted only under the Regional category with the submission details written in English.
• Do not submit links to affiliate programs or web sites that only contain affiliate links.
• Write good, quality descriptions. Submissions that contain too many errors or bad grammar will be rejected / deleted.
• Capitalize the first letter of each sentence in titles, descriptions as well as proper nouns.
• Submissions that contain fields in all UPPER CASE or all lower case will be deleted.
• We reserve the right to edit, delete or move your website submission to the proper category whenever deemed necessary.
